SAVE THE DATE New dates are now confirmed as Thursday 13th May 2021 and Friday 14th May 2021

2020 has thrown up many challenges for patients and families and healthcare providers.

We are delighted to confirm that the 30 year Liver Unit Celebration will go ahead on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th May 2021

In view of the pandemic it  will be a virtual celebration and we have significantly revised and shortened the programme to highlight not only what we have learnt over the years, but what we have learnt and are continuing to learn from the pandemic.

We have planned the programme as best we can so that speakers, delegates and alumni can join despite time differences.

The Celebration will be recorded and will be available to access afterwards, so we hope everyone can join us and contribute wherever you are.

We do hope you will join us, especially as the 30 year celebration for the Liver Unit will be a Festschrift for Deirdre who will be stepping down from routine clinical care in the Liver Unit in May to pursue academic and national initiatives.

We hope to have some social/networking sessions and more details will be provided in due course.

Further details will follow, please visit website for registration information.

Yours sincerely

Deirdre Kelly, CBE DL, Professor Paediataric Hepatology

Professor Darius Mirza, Professor of Paediatric Hepatobiliary and Transplant Surgery
